Brooklyn Borough Hall Renovation

This complete renovation of a 19th century building houses the offices of the Borough President, and includes new reception halls and a newly restored court rooms. The "rotunda" was enlarged and fitted with new granite stairs. A new street-level lobby was added with a new formal stair to the rotunda. The public circulation was overhauled and simplified, and included new marble and bluestone flooring, and new and relocated fire stairs.  Exterior site restoration included rebuilding the period curbs, sidewalks, plaza, street lights, furniture and planters.
