MTA Office of the Inspector
General
New
York City
This
30,000 S.F. gut renovation includes executive conference rooms, private
offices, training rooms and open space planning.
An environment of spatial hierarchy and visual drama was created
within a floor plate of limited perimeter windows and a low floor slab to
ceiling slab height.
Lowered ceiling planes defining primary circulation systems lead
the visitor from the gallery-like reception area towards two full-height
open office “atria” that anchor each wing of the L-shaped plan.
